BID strives to combine the newest expertise and innovations into successful business development. BID has strong cooperation networks on the regional, national and international level; it has over 200 partners in over 50 countries. Clients and partners consist of companies and other organizations along with domestic and international networks of experts.
BID follows and prognosticates changes and challenges within knowledge intensive businesses. It carries out research in innovations, entrepreneurship and new business models - also in the business environment of tomorrow.
BID is responsible for the entrepreneurship studies for TSE Master's students and is especially interested in entrepreneurial-directed teaching and learning methods. BID just recently got the mandate to organise Ph.D. program in entrepreneurship for Nordic countries.
BID hosts European Council for Small Business Secretariat and was the organiser of the ICSB conference in June 2007.
